Who are we?
BRIDGE Research (Bridging Research and Innovation for Democratic Governance and Enhanced Peace) is a non-profit think tank specializing in parliamentary affairs, peace, and development in the IGAD region. Established and registered in December 2024 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, it operates as a local organization in accordance with the FDRE Civil Society Organization Proclamation No. 1112/2019.
To advance democratic governance and enhance peace through research and innovative analysis relevant for policy making.
To be a research hub, a trusted source of analysis serving as a reference point for diverse political constituencies on parliamentary affairs and regional peace, governance and development.

Dr Kaleab Tadesse
Expert in defense and security, parliamentary affairs, and the IGAD subregional organization. Researcher, assistant professor, and policy analyst.
Dr Mercy Fekadu
Assistant Professor at the Institute for Peace and Security Studies (IPSS), Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia, and is the Director of the African Research Universities Alliance (ARUA) Center of Excellence in Post-Confict Societies hosted by IPSS.
Leulseged Girma
Leulseged Girma is an experienced professional with a keen interest in peace and security, geopolitics, political economy, community development, parliamentary affairs, global and democratic governance, elections, human rights, and humanitarian affairs. He has held leadership, program management, and research roles within various national and international non-governmental organizations.
