BRIDGE’s training program is delivered in three core components. The first, “Ethiopian Politics and Policy,” is designed to provide participants with a solid understanding of Ethiopia’s political system, government structures, and key public policies, with particular attention to major national policy frameworks and their implementation.

The second component, “Regional Governance and IGAD,” focuses on the geopolitical and political dynamics shaping the Horn of Africa and Eastern Africa. It also offers an in‑depth overview of the mandate, institutional architecture, and operational mechanisms of IGAD as a sub‑regional organization, including its role in regional cooperation and governance.

The third component is a tailored “Capacity Building Program for Members of Parliament,” targeting federal and regional parliamentarians and relevant parliamentary staff. This training aims to strengthen institutional performance by enhancing legislative and oversight capacities, supporting accountability, and contributing to the consolidation of democratic governance in Ethiopia.
