Introduction: BRIDGE Research and Innovation is a non-profit think tank and Parliamentary Monitoring Organization (PMO) specializing in parliamentary affairs in the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) sub-region. It is committed to developing research, a trusted source of analysis that serves as a reference point for diverse political constituencies on parliamentary affairs, regional peace, governance, and development. It aims to collaborate with researchers and research institutions in the region on research, training, and capacity-building activities aimed at supporting parliaments and other representative institutions. Furthermore, it is launching its Parliaments and Public Policy in Ethiopia and Parliaments and Public Policy Quarterly periodicals, with the objective of publishing evidence-based articles that focus on parliamentary affairs.
